32 Weeks.

Eight months pregnant and counting down now. We just have eight more weeks to go (give or take a little). I've reached the point where I am ready for her to be here. Between being pregnant in the heat, Baby Mayes wedging herself under my ribs, and knowing she'll be here in just two months is making me impatient!

This last week we took our maternity pictures, started our childbirth class, and did our hospital tour. Things are coming together!

31 Weeks (Plus One Day).

30 Weeks.

Well, just ten more weeks. Baby Mayes is now as long as a large cucumber. It feels like she never sleeps as I can feel her moving all the time. She must have Bryan's restlessness. She also likes to stretch and stick her feet under my ribs, which really hurts. My midwife told me I need to just try to push her to a different spot. Usually she wins though.

We did learn this week that Baby Mayes is very ornery. We did the 3D/4D ultrasound and even though she was wide awake she just wanted to cuddle with the placenta. She started hitting back at the ultrasound tech when she would try to get her to move. She also hit the doppler when my midwife was trying to hear her heart rate this week. We'll have our hands full with her! We did get to see her yawning, blinking, smiling, and sucking her thumb. I think it was worth it even with her being ornery.
